One of the reasons Heather really wanted to work for the Fairbanks campus is the fact that they had so many trails right on campus. The day started out really nice, but during the hike it rained and hailed - TWICE! No thunderstorm or anything, just the hail. We also took a "short" cut, which ended up taking longer than the "long" way. Moose must be waterproof or something, because the "short" cut was a moose trail that went through some pretty swampy swamp. We did three caches - Owl's Roost, Troop 78's Cache and Arboreal Off the Bike Path.

| Rabid squirrel? It was all a joke until it jumped at Brad! |
| Are they really gone? He was very protective of his tree. |

| Good thing Brad the tall was along. |

| What a silly guy. |

| What'cha talking about Willis? err... Heather |

| Hmmm... the trail ends here, but the gps says the cache is right over there... |
| The trail goes right through the pond! |
| Hail! We got rained on and hailed on TWICE! |

| A silly bird - we can't tell the difference between a grouse and a ptarmigan yet - so your choice. |

| Brad seems to find all the stuff that gets stuck in Heather's hair humorus... |
| Possible benchmark. |
