Denali National Park - Pictures by Brad

The trip to Denali was eventful!  It was a wonderful time to go, as it was hot and humid in Fairbanks (yes it gets hot and humid in Alaska).  We stayed with Brad's parents in a VERY cute cabin, which had a very nice deck.  We didn't see a lot of wildlife - but did see a fox (in town no less), rabbits, ravens, moose (of course) and caribou.  We road the train to and from Denali - which was a lot of fun!  While we were there we took a short tour of part of the park and also went on a white water rafting trip.  After rafting, Heather fell down the stairs coming off of a bus and dislocated (or something) her shoulder...  yippie - One piece of advice don't do it!  It hurts A LOT!  Soon after we got home, we took Brad to the doctor and he was diagnosed with Cruise Crud (put a bunch of people on a ship for 3 weeks and some interesting bugs result) - aka pnemonia.  =)  Still, it was a beautiful trip.  Click here to go to the second page of pictures from this trip.

Sad but true, with the land to people ration so very high (lots of land, not so many people) you don't see a lot of wild life - here the ever popular bunny.

No clue what this is - not in any of my books, I think it might be an escaped plant from someones flower bed.
