Outside Critters The good, the bad and the ugly! (Pheasants, squirrels and moose) First up - the Good. Pictures of the resident pheasant. This beautiful pheasant just showed up one day. They aren't native to Alaska but they got loose and are breeding. Next up are the bad - bad squirrels!  Our squirrels seem to think they are the kings of the area. Here he is burying seed he got from the bird feeder. What he doesn't know is our fox will dig it up and eat it for him! Poor squirrel - no food on his feeder. Ah - Brad finally felt bad for him and got him something. He looks diabolical. "It's mine, all MINE!" And last but not least the gangly moose. In this pic, you can see her baby too. She really didn't like the ambulance going past.
